I didn't watch the video, but here's a paraphrased excerpt from a story I read last year:

No person or creature could possibly be all Santa's supposed to be. The more Santa Claus is looked at and examined in a scientific fashion, the less he becomes, until someday he just fades away into nothing. Santa is belief in all which is good and happy about Christmas, not photographs and scientific articles.

Based on the part I highlighted, I'd say Santa Claus is real so long as that belief exists somewhere in the world.
