Chapter 02 - A Matter of Entanglement (4046 words)

Fun fact: The Catalyst/Entanglement split was a spontaneous decision after discussing the level of tension the prologue left readers with. We felt it simply didn't work as a prologue. The way Catalyst ends now is a much better way to end the first chapter. Then, we can expand on the situation and build characters up more. The tension at the end of A Matter of Entanglement isn't nearly as important, but it does tie us in nicely with Of Friends and Nightmares, which picks up three years later after this chapter.
