Along with the mild directional shift, I promoted a whole bunch of competent and nice admins, who will hopefully manage the group well in my absence again. I just mostly came back when I got messaged about the bad news, which I didn't want because I kind of actually wanted us to be brought together since one thing that the wildly diverse people of FIMFiction almost universally agree on is that they feel that they can speak for themselves and know what's best for themselves. I approached it somewhat wrong from the start and it seems that in my absence it only got worse. I think now it will be fine, however.
