So... question. I know of two stories with Twinkleshine, but they were not written by me. What is the appropriate way to recommend them to the group?

Put them in the group's folder(s).

On any given story, there should be an "Add to Groups" button near the bottom of the description. A list should appear with all of the groups you've joined in alphabetical order. You can either scroll down until you find the group(s) you want to add the story to, or you can just type in the group name(s). From there, just click on an appropriate folder and the story should be added to the group.
