Man this has got to be the first time a running gag made it as a title for the series...I think. Still I must have run out of ideas if this is the title I thought up.

Hey Hive Mind, DWC here with another episode review! Let's not waste any time and lets dive into this review!

This episode starts off with Bugze being a bit freaked out with all the staring, and he questions if this is some form of greeting among the buffalo. Of course this line of thought leads him to realize he's surrounded by ponies who want to capture him, buffalo who can easily squash him, and a dragon (through this is season 1 Spike, so that wouldn't be that big a issue). So of course his brain goes into panic mode and he accidently starts spewing bunch of Indian movie stereotypes about them via casino slots and offering him as a sacrifice to their nature spirits. Oh, and he calls them savages!

...

Yeah I'ma need that 20 sided die real quick. Let's roll it and see what we get....

Looks like we got a 12! Add 3 with taking into account Spike, Rainbow, and Pinkie and that's a total of 15!

Evil: +15 Being speciesist with said species present

I'm not saying being speciesist without said species being present is good, I'm just saying that makes a bigger affect then anything else.

Anyway in a last ditch effort to save himself from this blunder, and avoid a butt kicking, Bugze (after a bit more word vomit) uses Rainbow's ego to his advantage and challenges her to a staring contest. Luckily she falls for it and the buffalo all get drawn into this contest of will.

This contest goes on for about half a hour, and in that time the buffalo had made bets on the winner and Pinkie had pulled a bag of popcorn out of nowhere and was sharing it with Spike. The contest itself ends with Bugze being victories, cause apparently staring down a cockatrice and not turning to stone makes you a master of staring contest.

But after Bugze's victory the buffalo and the others go back to staring at Bugze. Bugze chuckles awkwardly as he figured everything was cleared up now after the staring contest and he asks if there's something on his face. This causes him to freak out cause he thinks his bandana came undone, but thankfully that's not the case.

Course this is only because I didn't want another changeling revel to happen to be because of Bugze's clumsiness. If he's going to be reveled as a changeling its cause he gets caught or by his own volition!

Ahem, anyway Bugze starts to think his breath smells or that he sweat through his cloak. After confirming both those to not be the case Bugze notices a piece of paper next to the chief looking buffalo and figures he should probably look at it. To do so he uses the now classic 'look a distraction' technique. Of course it works and everyone looks away long enough for Bugze to take a peek at the paper.

Man I wish it worked like that in real life. Image all the stuff you could get away with if you used 'look a distraction' and it actually worked? So many free cookie-dough ice-cream....

Ah right, the paper is a list of ideas the buffalo had come up with to get their land back. Aside from a 1. 2.??? 3. profit joke and a few others it sums up that they are open for negations so that everyone wins. Bugze is overjoyed at that and decides he should leave so he can tell Braeburn about it.

He starts to tip-toe away (how on hooves I've no cool) when he gets caught trying to escape. Of course Grandbuggy's advice comes to save him as he remembers that if your in a jam, to just sing it off. So he cues Pinkie to play him off and this happens:

And Bugze dances all the way back to Appaloosa. The episode then ends the next day where in the canon events Rainbow and Applejack start butting heads over something that doesn't involve them. And Bugze just wonders why everyone's been so stary lately.

Gotta love the stubborn ones right folks? Without them we wouldn't have a episode or plot!

This episode was pretty good. The bit between Rainbow and Bugze with the staring was funny, and the plot moved forward and we're one episode away from what is arguably the best fight episode in the entire season. Plus we got a adorable moment with Nightshade and some much needed Pinkie silliness. Honestly, aside from the season 2 finale, Pinkie's been the one character I manage to keep in character consistently. I guess writing a lovable fourth wall breaking goof ball is easier then I thought?

Anyway, I'm off to challenge Bugze to a staring contest! Let's see how he deals with a guy who reads fanfiction on his phone at night...with full brightness! In the mean time here's the Title Segment!

Favorite Moment:

(after picking up Nightshade who you found adorably sleeping in a crate covered in empty pie dishes)

Sometimes I wish this story was like super popular like some of the other stuff on this site, only so people would make fan-art of the adorable being know as Nightshade. Seriously this sounds so freaking adorable!

Embarrassing Moment:

HALF AN HOUR LATER

As much as I would love to think Bugze and Rainbow can do a staring contest for that long...that can't be physically possible. Your eyes would dry out way before the twenty minute mark.

WTF Comment:

Can some one please, like muther facking please, give me a deepfryer so I can like put my scrodum in the oil and burn my balls to a crisp so I can eat them like a apple shoved into a horses vagaga.

This was from last episode, and the only reason I noticed it was due to a reply this episode. But still...what the hell!? I mean...I'm sorry but just what the absolute hell!?!

So I won the contest! But now I can't close my eyes...I think I might need to see a doctor...its starting to sting...yeah I'm going to the doctors now....

Welp that's it for this review! Reply if you have any questions concerning this chap, for me in general, or to just tell me what you thought of this chapter as well! See ya all later today with the next ep!
