Sunset would definitely be a great addition to the Ponyville Gang (yes that is what I call the Mane 6, sue me). But what would she be able to offer them? COMMON SENSE. You see, while the Mane 6 have saved the day multiple times, they often rush in to try and solve the problem, and often get their asses handed to them during Round 1. This makes for a dangerous thing because it means that a villain doesn't have to be overly smart in order to win against them. But Sunset has been shown to take an analytical approach to problems. If she was there she would be able to point out some flaws in the group's plan of attack and thus when the villain wins in round 1, it actually feel like it was a genuine victory.

The problems Sunset could face in the show could be like: she feels like a third wheel in the adventure, Being too overly cynical, etc.

But what do guys think that Sunset could offer the show?

I recon at the end of the show she and Twilight could replace Celestia and Luna
