The story: 120 Days of Blueblood

Are the mane 6 featured in this story?
a) If yes, then why aren't they named? Everypony else is named.
b) If no, then why do they resemble the mane 6 so much?

I only managed to get two chapters in, but from what I've read I can only assume that it is the mane six, and after a bit of thinking I have come to something of a conclusion. Blueblood doesn't entirely know who the mane six are apart from stories told by the members of Equestria about the EoH, and he's royalty either way so he very well wouldn't focus on names, rather going by memory of how each mare looked. Or maybe he's just terrible with names. (And sorry for replying so late, I've been writing a ton lately and I wasn't paying much attention to other things)

I still think that using their names would be less confusing, though.
