Paradise is an island and a place surrounded by beautiful blue sea. It has fields of green and sandy yellow beaches. There are rivers, streams, and lots of trees where the birds sing. There are windmills, and a coal mine, and docks where visitors to the Island arrive. The Island also has lots and lots of railway lines.

If you picture:
A land where the sky is so blue
A storybook land of wonder
A magical island just waiting for you

If you Imagine a place where:
The sun always smiles
The valleys are green as can be
The friends that you love are all waiting for you

If you can picture and imagine all of these things, you know exactly where paradise is.

Plus it's more of reminiscing about one's childhood and sometimes wishing they could go back to being a kid again. So the song brings the feels to long time fans.

Although, in my case, it was more of being in a HiE fic and learning that I wouldn't be able to watch Thomas...ever again.

Call me weird, but i now wanna see a fanfic where a child, and HUGE, thomas fan is brought to equestria and after all the stuff of him or her missing his parents, fitting in, and most likely being adopted, it becomes his mission, and destiny to, using his memories, and a box of the first 26 books of the railway series that came with him, Introduce thomas and his friends to equestria starting this song.
