I personally don't think we should have Lady in her original interpertation.

But this is because I generally like to keep to the canon of the Railway Series. There the fantasical element in the fact some vechiles (pardon my spelling, I have dyslexia (Which I ironically can spell correctly)) have faces and can talk.

Recently content creators on YouTube like Enterprising Engine 93 and Victor Tanzig have introduce more down to earth versions of Lady as a unqiue, privately owned tank engine.
