I chose the buddie on the personalities, and their behaviors with their partners in the show. That goes the same for the girls in the movies.
Sci-Twi and Bal- pro
A timid girl who wants to learn about things, and she want to learn more about friendship, a dragon who likes new things and wants to try them out, and likes making friends. She is caring of others, and he is playful, and brave when fighting for his friends. She likes his company and he likes her smiling face. He gives her courage, and she gives him wisdom.
Con
She is scared to physically make friends, and is a little bit of a know it all. He is not very bright and most of the time he stuffs his face with food. She is not very athletic, when it comes to sports, and his curiosity mostly gets him in a lot of trouble. He is more of a child and he can drive her a little crazy.
Rainbow Dash and Drum- pro
Both very proud, and want to prove their the best at what they do, they are loyal to their friends and will defend them when their in trouble. They like showing what they can do, and they can make each other better. They push each other to their limits, and they both show what loyalty truly means.
Con
They are both ego maniacs, they are a bit lazy, they are both hot heads, and they fight a lot about who is better. The fast runner or the Omni lord.  They both act first and think later, they hate to lose, and are not too trusting. They almost can't stand each other. She thinks he slows her down, he thinks she is too weak to be his buddy. They are both unfortunately arrogant.
Pinkie pie and Asmodai- pro
They both are happy and go lucky, they love entertaining others and making others smile with parties and dancing. they both very random and very funny when making others laugh. They both love sweets, and are both persistent if they want to make you happy.
Con
Not much except for the fact that Asmodai mostly helps Pinkie to increase his popularity, since he is a celebrity.
Rarity and Jack knife- pro
They are both very polite, he likes to be her body guard and he will always be grateful when he owns someone a debt. She is well mannered and is very willing to help someone when they have a problem and need advice. They are both generous in their own way, and are very dependent on each other.
Con
She is a bit bossy, and nag, He is a bit of a lone wolf, and does not like being a model. He has a bit of anger issues if he is mad enough, she is a drama queen and hates getting dirty.
Applejack and shikigami- pro
They are both bound by honor, and do everything they do to the fullest. She is a hard working farmer who does the job till its finished, He is a ninja who does whatever he is asked to do without question. They work well together, and are very trustworthy. They are always honest with their opinions. They are not good liars.
Con
She is a stubborn bone head, and he is a Japanese nerd. She is a little proud, and she can't understand Japanese. He doesn't speak and can only communicate through writing in Japanese.
Fluttershy and Abigale- pro
They like to be with each other, they like to have fun with their friends, they are both quiet. She wants to get to know him, and he always wants her to be happy. They both don't like being left alone, they also like to try new things. He gives her bravery, and she gives him kindness. He willingly protects her and she always cares for him. They both show kindness in their own way.
Con
She is afraid of scary things, he looks scary. He isn't sure if she is strong enough to be his buddy, she doesn't want to fight so he can get hurt. He is headstrong, while she is shy and they are both non social.
Sunset and Batzz- pro
They are both strong headed, and strong willed. They both are trying to find redemption, and are both very powerful. She has brains, and strategy while he has strength and power.  They both want to improve and be better so they can protect everyone. He is a demon lord, and she is magic unicorn.
Con
He doesn't like being ordered around, and she wants to try and be friends with him. He is shallow, while she can be depressing. He thinks he is the greatest and others are weak, she doesn't have confidence to keep him under control. He tried to conquer Dragon world, She enslaved the school.
