Because of the subject of this site, people tend to be nicer ("love and tolerance") and more literate than the average Facebook user. Not saying that all people who use facebook are inconsiderate morons or anything, but definitely at least a slightly larger portion of them are.

3122225 Sadly, the filter isn't perfect. I've seen a few pretty disturbing things that don't have a mature tag but could still be traumatizing for a kid to see. Honestly, kids really should just stick to the show, the fandom (while very awesome for the most part) is just a bit too risky.
