I guess one part of the Civil War experience is going to the battlefields and walking those bloodstained groups. I know that in some parts of the country that is difficult to do, closest battlefield to me is over four hours away.

So where have you walked, and what stories to you have to tell about your experiences.

2542239 Unfortunately, I haven't been to any Civil War battlefields, though I badly want to. I plan on visiting a few during college, but for now, I can't. I did visit the battlefield for the Battle of Little Big Horn though.

I've been to quite a few, like Petersburg and Port Hudson; I've got quite a few around here.
