((I'm still working on this, and I probably sound like a bit of a dictator now. Oh well.))

Welcome to the new Christian bronies group. Here you will have a great time talking with other Christian bronies and helping those who don't know god.
Even though this group is for everyone to have as much fun as possible, like every functional and well working group, it still needs to have rules in order to keep things in shape and to prevent things such as flame wars.
RULES
1.this might just be the most important rule in this group, be respectful. This is especially important for a group of Christians. Being a Christian is about uniting together and being Christlike, being disrespectful would go against the very meaning of being Christian. If someone breaks this rule, they will be warned ONCE. Even if they say sorry they will still be written down in a "they have been warned" log. Everyone has their bad days and sometimes needs to vent some steam, but please don't take out your anger and frustration on others. If you break the rule again you will be banned.
2.the stories added to this group must be marked accordingly. If you feel I need a folder for a specific purpose, let me know. However, they must involve Christian themes or morals in someway. I don't feel we should add mature stories, if you feel that a story involving gore and rape should be allowed here send me a link.
3. Just like some other groups out there, when you make a thread you must have either (Christian) (semi-Christian) or (non-Christian) the Christian category is for threads that talk about god, Jesus Christ, or anything else Christian related. The non-Christian category is for threads that have nothing to do with Christians (example, a discussion about potatoes :twisheepish:) and the semi-Christian category is for thread posts that have something to do with Christ, god, etc. But not entirely.
4. No trolling whatsoever. I have no tolerance for it. I will decide whether or not the thread is designed to be a trolling thread.
I should only have to warn you once, after that the other admins and I will decide if a ban is in order. - Rebel
This isn't exactly a rule, but it is highly encouraged. Help those in need. If someone seems to be having a bad time, try to cheer them up, it may be hard but you can at least try to turn their day around for the better.
If you have any questions about anything or want to know how to become a Christian, then send a PM to one of the group admins.

The first rule is okay. I'd try and write it a mite bit better, but the essentials are all there. The reason you sound like a dictator is you mention a, "They have been warned" list and you say it can only be broken one time before a ban. It still sounds like you're not going toward middle of the road as much as you're saying, "One time, and then ban." Which is what I mention before as NOT being the solution. The solution is being more open in your rules, but consistent in punishment.

I'd re-write it to something more like the following.

Welcome to the Christian Bronies forum! This is a place for people who know God to talk about Him and his word, and for people who don't know about Him to learn, or even to just hang out with a wonderful group of people.

(This is because your original only referred to non-believers as coming here to learn about God or to know him, and that's not really what most of them are here for. They're here to spend time with a group of individuals and to be in an environment.)

Even though this group is for everyone to have as much fun as possible, like every functional and well working group, it still needs to have rules in order to keep things in shape and to prevent things such as flame wars.

(To this I would add:)

As a community based around God, we want to keep the environment respectful, but open to both parties. We like to have fun too! The rules will be simple and reasonable, but enforced well. Please try not to press your luck.

(The core of the rule is fine, but it's not being represented well. We don't want to speak in this way, where we say, "This is a group of Christians, and Christianity means this, and" blah blah blah, you get the point. Don't forget that not everyone has the same views, and it's pretty pushy to put that in your rules to begin with. In addition, this is a group that has non-believers in it. That means we should be pushing things from a more neutral standpoint.

Not to mention the whole, "I have a list of people who are being warned, and even if they apologize, they're still on it!" That's...I gotta be honest, that's a little weird and creepy. Don't put things like that in your rules. That last part is perfect.

I would correct it to:)

The one rule we'd ask for everyone to keep in mind is the golden rule: Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. Try to strive to be respectful and understanding. We realize that this isn't the number one priority in conversation and that it can make things awkward, but it's important to keep in mind during any disputes or when you see something that angers you. This is a group that views questions of morality with a good deal of importance. Things will be said here that you don't appreciate or like. Some things may offend you or make you frustrated, even furious. And they may even be perfectly okay to say on the board, even if they're not exactly nice. It's at times like these you need to remember to keep a cool head and keep things from getting too heated or personal. You can respond, just...try not to go over the top with it. A flame war is the last thing anyone here wants.

And in return, we strive to be more understanding and lenient when it comes to behavior in conversation. An occasional kerfuffle or harsh word is something that comes out from everyone every now and then. That's the nature of interaction between people. We get it and we respect it, so don't expect us to come down hard on you for the small stuff. But we'd like to think we're fair about knowing what is and what isn't normal, so try not to make being rude a habit. If you go too far or if you do these things far too much, we will take notice and take action.

3. This is a Christian forum. As such, the stories submitted here must be about Christianity or espouse Christian values. Place everything in the right folder if you can, and if you're unsure about any mature content, sexual or otherwise, PM an admin and they'll straighten it out. While we don't outright ban mature content, it needs to be put into a context that's appropriate for the community, so tread lightly.

4.

(It's a little bloated here. Let me see if I can at least make it clearer.)

5. Tag your threads appropriately. (Christian) is the tag for any threads relating to Christianity, while (Non-Christian) is anything else. If you're not sure about the content you want to post, maybe think about adding an additional tag to warn people about any content you're unsure of.

6.

4. No trolling whatsoever. I have no tolerance for it. I will decide whether or not the thread is designed to be a trolling thread.
I should only have to warn you once, after that the other admins and I will decide if a ban is in order. - Rebel

(I'm just gonna do these fast, since we need to leave work in a few minutes. )

7. Don't come here looking for trouble. We're lax around here, but we're not stupid. If you come here looking for trouble, trouble is exactly what you're going to get.

In addition to that, we'd really appreciate it if you took extra care to help keep things looking more like a community of people that people can be proud to be a part of. Try and help the people that need it, and remember to be patient. If your words would cause more harm than good at the moment, keep them to yourself until the proper moment, even if that moment is never.

And lastly, If you have any questions about anything or want to know how to become a Christian, then send a PM to one of the group admins.

(I hope you can take something from those!)

What twilightsheepish?
