So in my story chapters 3-4 cover a Pie tasting contest between Pinkie and Applejack. Pinkie is orchestrating things to evolve into an epic pie fight, because she feels this will brighten the mood of the ponies considerably now that cider season is done. At the end, Granny unleashes her doomsday weapon: a Zap Apple Pie that - well here is where I am stuck. I want to write some good ol' Earth Pony magic where she detonates the thing (somehow) and by nature of her magic, the apple filling quickly replicates itself as it explodes - covering everypony in gooey apple filling goodness. I am trying to come of with a feasible way of her making it happen, and is the only thing preventing me from finishing chapter 4. Any idears?
