Equestria is place in what was eastern, mid-western, and latin America. This has proven to be a vital role in not only how the nation grew, but how it would influence the world. Though they have declared a state of independence, Saddle Arabia (Isreal) and the Crystal Empire (North East Canada) are technically a part of Equestria. In recent times though, that has been debated.

With a lack of neighboring nations, war has nearly never happened on Equestrian soil. During it's early development, many of the old tribes attempted to keep to the old ways, but many current historians refer to these incidents and mere skirmishes rather than a war. The only actual war that was eve held were the Lunar/ Solar war, circa 1214. Followers of Nightmare Moon had gathered and began an uprising after their deity was purged from the land. Though large forces only clashed twice, espionage followed for centuries to follow. It is believed that there are still followers to this day, doubting the legitimacy of Princess Luna.

After these few incidents, Equestria hit the worlds longest golden age to face the known world. Goods used all over the world can find influence from Equestria, from materials to shipping, Equestria plays an essential role for the world as a whole.

Equestria is ruled by a monarchy and a parliament. The monarchy is made up of Four Alicorns; Twilight Sparkle (Friendship), Mi Amore Cadenza (Love), and Day and Night (Celestia and Luna). The parliament is made up of two houses; the Royal Family and the House of Lords.

The Alicorns first came into power with Celestia and Luna. Just after the the forming of Equestria, Discord proclaimed himself the sovereign ruler of Equestria. Though it is unsure how long he actually ruled, Celestia and Luna defeated him by using the Elements of Harmony to turn him to stone. Because of this, they restored the order of the moon and sun. With this balance, it was unanimously agreed that they would rule over the new nation. The to of them sought to teach their ponies the importance of equality and fairness.

Not too long before Equestria was formed, the Crystal Empire was hitting a stride of sorts. A new leader, one who had made dark pacts for power, was on the verge to conquer the weaker and divided tribes of the south. Before he could march his slave army though, Sombra was defeated by Celestia and Luna, but not before he casted the nation into the shadows of the Nether. Once the nation returned, and the Darkness was casted out, Love prevailed over the land. Though she was appointed by Celestia, Mi Amore Cadenza was quickly beloved by her subjects. Teaching to embrace their fellow ponies with open hooves.

The newest addition to the Alicorn family was not immediately accepted by everyone. Twilight Sparkle was Celestias' prized student, and with the aid of her friends, was able to save Equestria multiple times. Though she hasn't started teachings of her own, her stories of hardship and heroism are well versed throughout Equestria. Many follow the ideals that the magic of friendship will persevere and good will triumph over evil.

The Alicorns have duties to the people and the crown. They were appointed to be a visage to the ponies of Equestria; to look up to and inspire. They must hold themselves to the ideals of Equestrian beliefs.

Three races make up the majority of Equestria. Though the equines have been united for nearly three thousand years, there are many stereotypes that still exist to this day.

Unicorns are the magic users of the nation. They make us the smallest populace of the nation, even though the entire Royal Family is made up of unicorns. Because of this, many others believe that all unicorns should be of that prestige. Ponies look down a bit harder on a poor unicorn. With access to magic, unicorns have found their way into every part of Equestrian life. From food to entertainment, unicorns have their influence.

Pegasi are the flying race of the nation. With their ability to manipulate weather, they have a tendency to keep outside. Ponies often assume that they don't like being inside and are quick to come to decisions. A majority of pegasi keep within the parameters of weather manipulation, though scores of them venture out from that venue. They also have the longest genealogy for military ancestry, going all the way back to the founding of the Pegasi tribe.

Earth Ponies take the most flak from the other races. Without the ability to fly and no access to magic, many early on demonized them as the lesser breed. They are the strongest and most enduring of the group on average and out number the two other species greatly. Though many tend to the fields, it is a stereotype that Earth Ponies are natural farmers.

Equestria has many sub-cultures within it because of the freedoms they enjoy. A majority of ponies could be broken into three categories: Lower class, Middle Class, and Nobility.

The lower class is predominantly made up of blue collard pones and the unfortunates. Those who have to work with their hooves or don't work at all. They make up a majority of the nation, the ninety five percent. It is not uncommon for ponies to be single parents, have small herds, or even same sex couples. A majority of the lower class believe in the teachings of the Princess and try their hardest to imitate that life style. They are hopeful and ambitious. (EX: Applejack, Boxy, Rarity)

The Middle Class is made up of the owners and delegaters. Those who own the factories, farmlands, or work for the government. This group has a considerably larger income than the first and tend to keep to the larger cities. They make up the four percent that live in luxury, but aren't at the royalty level of opulence. They also tend to follow the ideals that marriage should be between two individuals, though most try to add the opposite sex rule as well. (EX: Fancy Pants, Filthy Rich, Dirty Bits)

Nobility comes from one of two places; heritage or self endowment. Most are born into nobility through the Royal Family. They've been around since the beginning of Equestria. Though they started out with representation from all the races, Unicorns have weeded out the others through various means. They make less than one tenth of the population. Their moral codes have been set in stone for a long time and are very rarely broken. Marriage is often arranged to a pony of opposite gender, social obedience is expected at all times, and perfection is strived in all things. (EX: Blueblood, Diamond Heart, Shinning Armor)

Before Tempus, there was no time. Before Spatium, there was nothing. The two deities came into existence and created all that is known. Tempus creating the flow of time and the ending of times. Spatium created the earth beneath your hooves, the skies above your head, and everything between. Such a feat was too great a toll for the two, ending their existence. But they would not leave their little ponies without proper guidance.

Most ponies don't know when Celestia and Luna were born. It had to have been some time before the rise of Discord. Celestia marking the summer solstice and Luna the winter. It fell upon their shoulders that they would watch over the ponies of the world and keep the flow of time continuing. In order to do that, they each took control of celestial bodies. Celestia took the sun, in order to ward off evil and grow crops. Luna took the Moon to light the darkness and govern the dreams of the ponies of the land.

With the additions of Mi Amore Cadenza and Twilight Sparkle, the ponies of the world are becoming more self sufficient. They each embody the ideals that anypony can achieve greatness, so long as you follow your destiny. With compassion and companionship, anything is possible.

When you die, it is said that you drift into the ebb of time to meet with Spatium or Tempus, depending on how you lived your life. For those of darkness and ill being, your soul is casted down into the inner most fires of Tartarus until you've repented your evil ways.

On another note, how the hell are you so good at building expanded universes? I've tried,but it's definitely not something I can do.

This is just how I see it, and my eyesight is terrible by the way, but surely a small group of men and women escaped the scientific/magic fanatics and retained their Religious/Technological culture, I had at one time considered seeking permission to do a sidestory to bring out the Lost Holy Empire of the Praetorians, also known as the U.S.G.F. (United States Galactic Federation) planning to have them serve to "protectors" of their technologically inferior bretheren (ie: the humans of Terradisia) while also at the same time rooting out the "evil" of magic and replaceing it with the powers of the God that were gifted to mankind. All the while keeping the unfamiliar from ( to avoid offending any religiously affiliated viewers, I refrain from specifying any particular god, but bear in mind that this is based on your own opinion of the true God/ gods, my own being Jehovah God.)
I cannot however go along with any aspect of said items without Tallest's permission.

Sorry for the delay in the response, had other things to attend to. I do intend to make a post about the human societies, but it will be one of the later blog posts. It will go over everything (hopefully) that you wish to know about.
