Kind of surprised the Avali haven't been announced as an "official" race yet. I find myself playing as them more than the original races aswell. Even has its own wiki aswell.... That being said I want a a fic with them in it.

I don't think Chuckle Fish can make the Avali an official race even if they wanted to. Weren't they originally in Spore? Mod or not, EA may technically own rights to them given if spore's EULA says they can use them for offical content without the maker's consent and without having to pay him

They were not called Avali though when they were in spore, plus they had a different appearance too.
