After more than a decade, though having become very quiet indeed in the last two or three years, the UK of Equestria forums have shut up shop for good. The Discord remains, and I'm sure some people will stay there and have a good time, but it's a different animal. For a start, it's not publicly viewable, which was something I always deeply appreciated about the forums. UK of Equestria as I think of it means the forums, and that part of it -- my very first MLP fandom site back in spring 2012 -- is gone. End of an era. I'll miss you, UK of E.

A sad moment for me as well.
Went to have a look at the site for the first time in ages on Sunday, only to be confronted with the screen that stated that the site was no more.
Many good times and connections, winning the caption competition and meeting your good self.
There will always be some great memories and I shall raise a glass to UK of E.
