I have to say I haven't favorited anything that was written this year, though the first chapters of "Twilight Manages to Screw Up More Than Usual" (2nd Nov 2014) are absolute gold.

Ok, lets see if I can just narrow it down since I have read a whole dang lot.

Elements of Friendship: Book 1-Harmony: This fic, I cannot praise it enough. I mean, while it starts off like just season 1 but with a Queen, it quickly becomes "What if season 1 was done by Lauren Faust if she was given unlimited money, time, and resources and told that she had no limits". The action, the heartwarming, and the incorperation of so many elements from the show turn what could've been just a retelling into something grand and glorious!

seven days of Sunny June: Or, as I like to call it, the closest you are ever going to get to a slightly darker verision of EG without going to far.

I have more, but its so hard to chose.
