This is one of the reasons I've held off on other video projects. This was my final project for my Psychology of Gender class, where we were given creative freedom as long as it related to what we studied in class. There was something I read in my textbook that stated if Barbie™ was a life-sized woman, she would not have the right amount of body fat to menstruate. It inspired me to make this. I got some of the new Barbie™s with more realistic body types to contrast with the original Barbie™ (the blond one). My professor loved it and she allowed me to upload it on YouTube (only changes are the rating warning at the beginning and the name changed to my username in the credits).

Pretty much what I was going for was to transcend as well as poke fun at gendered stereotypes. Also presenting taboo topics like menstruation and sexuality in a comedic, but respectful, way.

Wow, it's been SO long since I've done a stop motion film. I've missed it!

Forgot to credit Sam & Mickey for inspiration. Whoops!
