I was watching some videos on Youtube. Specifically the "MLP in one minute" videos by user Jerry Peet. When I reached his Snowdrop one, I read the description.

Snowdrop. Almost as adorable as Toph.

From that, I came up with the crazy idea that Snowdrop somehow ends up in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and in the care of Toph Bei Fong. No idea where it would go beyond some cute, fluffy bonding, and Toph teaching Snowdrop how to take care of herself...

...but then I visualized Toph teaching Snowdrop earth bending, and using it to see with her hooves through vibrations in the earth. Pegasi, as weather manipulators, would be naturally more sensitive to vibrations in the air. Apply Toph's earth bending techniques to manipulating weather and flight by seeing with the air vibrations.

...Snowdrop equals cross between Equestrian Avatar and Daredevil.
