- There is an entire group of people who embrace a toy formerly for little girls
- The sitting president is the opposite of white

- There is STILL no such thing as dehydrated food
- To replace VHS, which was removed from the market in 2006, we have DVDs, Blu-Rays, video-on-demand, and even such things as YouTube and Netflix.
- Universal, who distributed both Back To The Future and Jaws, stopped the latter franchise at Jaws: The Revenge some 28 years ago. As such, Jaws 19 is now NOT playing at a theatre near you. However, in 2015, it did continue a popular franchise about dinosaurs that was started well after he came back from the Old West (in Back to the Future Part III).
- GIF images are around to do the very thing the TVs did at the restaurant Mr. McFly stopped at along the way.

- There are still lawyers in this world.
- Donald Trump is running for President after all. We have still not heard from Biff Tannen Campaign Headquarters.
- Video Chat happens to exist after all by way of Skype.
- Video Glasses do too, but not on as widespread a basis...yet.
- Cars now use alternative fuel.
- The Pope visited America - again!
- Apple's most popular products these days are gadgets that allow thumbprints as keys.
- Of the cars Marty McFly saw when he came here, none of them flew in the air.

And that's it. I saw Back To The Future Part II's representation of this year and connected them with actual events to create this thread.
