((OOC: Using Acken the Orc))

Acken, the orc, stood atop of a hill overlooking Galloping Gorge, his hands held a massive war-cleaver, and his soldiers moved quietly about the area, setting up palisades and tents, making certain that large pots of boiling oil were ready to be spilled on anyone trying to climb up the hillside.

The orc smiled and turned to his companions, eyeing them, and judging their resolve.

"Fight nears. Goblins help if ponies break treaty." The orc smiled, showing rows of rotting teeth. "We make sure treaty is broken. Supplies never reach the gorge."

The silent night was still young by the time Acken left his companions alone. There were four of them, all with a different perspective on what would happen. Two wanted to help the orc. They wanted the riches and glory he had promised, while another two would not aid in the slaughter he planned.

Each had gathered a small group of followers, and they discussed the matter heatedly...

((OOC: Using Janus))

Janus tapped the rocks he was leaning on excitedly, like a colt at a candy shop window. He scanned the natural bottle neck for the umpteenth time with a little sadistic grin on his face. He hadn't had time to ever study the effects of molten metal on pony flesh but he would today. This was going to be fun! Others buzzed around, fussing uselessly. Not him. When anypony came, he'd the first to the oil, the first to the side and the first to see them fall.

((OOC: It's us against the world then, this has just become our game. If anyone else wants to join, they'll have to be incorporated later on. Let's go!))

As the discussion got louder and louder, knives were drawn, sides were taken, and blood was spilled. The two leaders of the side that did not want to aid the orc attacked. Knives flashing, and in complete silence. The first to fall was one of the leaders of those that supported Acken, while the remaining one, Janus, was left to fight off at least two enemies, as his soldiers fought off the rest.

The first one to attack him was a burly man, at least in his late thirties. His hands glowed with green fire as he moved forward, throwing a punch at Janus, who...

.......caught the fist in his mouth. The thrower of the punch, some meat-headed lackey looked on in complete bewilderment at the spiral eyed pony who only gave a manical grin full of fist before he bit down. It was amazing how much damage hervivore teeth could do in that instant but the aggressor had no time to think about the strangeness of the situation as Janus crushed his fist magic and all. Janus spat out the bloodied appendage, cackling.
"Ohhhh a knuckle sandwhich, not my favourite. Ayyyy Ohhhh!" He commented.
"But in all seriousness..." Janus launched himself up from his position.
"...who the fuck...." Janus looped round the agressor with an outstretched hoof that spun him around his neck and onto his back.
"...DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!!?!" He bellowed unaturally as he transferred his monentum to both his hooves that moved in unison in opposite directions on the aggressor's still slack jaw. A sickening crack was heard as his neck was brocken and his life extinguished, still in utter confusion. Janus hopped of the fallen body quickly and glanced around the miniture warzone around him.
"Mmmmm that esculated quickly. Might as well finish it just as fast."
He moved suddenly and sharply again with the same gleeful manical look as before and rammed his head at another treacherous form. He would have the honour of being casualty number two.

((OOC: That's alright, we have all the time in the world.))

Screams and agony filled the air. Death was all around, as the bloodied knives darted in and out of flesh and cloth. Ending the life of all and any in range. Orcs and men, stallions and mares, goblins and gryphons, all under the orders of Acken, swiftly emerged from the tents as the sounds of war grew louder. The rebels were tackled to the ground, and those who were lucky perished instantly as the knives, swords, and maces obliterated them.

The ones that tried to beg for their lives, or that tried to run away were ran down and their tongues cut off on the spot. Orcs and goblins spent the next hours torturing them, until every last silent scream had been spent.

Acken smiled from afar, eyeing his companion with darkness in his eyes. The orc approached Janus, holding the massive war cleaver in his hand.

"Done well. Be ready, ponies come in the morning. Kill all, no survivors, no witness. Destroy the food, get rid of the bodies. Goblins must not know." The orc sheathed the enormous weapon and nodded. "You grow rich. Power will be yours."

Janus giggled morbidly in response.
"Oh come now dear Acken." He began, pulling a deck chair from seemingly nowhere and slouching in it without a care in the world, his fur still matted with blood.
"You know I have no interest in that." He said gesturing with a hoof.

The orc smiled once again, his rotting teeth fully exposed. "Death. You like death, no?" He let out a dry chuckle, as if his throat were full of dust. "That is good. To live by death is a life of strength."

"More specifically the thrill of death!" Janus added somewhat triumphantly.
"Shows your alive.." Janus finished more quietly, his eye spirals spinning faster and a small smile on his face.
"Anywho" He began breaking out of his strange reverie and leaning back in his chair. "When's the main event? I mean this was nice and all.."
He swung his hoof out across the view of soliders clearing bodies.
"But I like things to be more substantial." He finished grinning again and looking at the orc from the corner of his eyes. He turned again to the scene again just as quickly as his glance was made, taking a long and loud slurp from a deep blue slushie Acken couldn't remember him ever having a couple of seconds ago.

Arching an eyebrow, the orc pointed toward a small passage that cut through the trees of the forest. The pathway led to Galloping Gorge, and connected the city of VanHoover with the goblin residence. It was the passage used by the citizens to deliver the food of the treaty every year.

"Passage. In a few hours, VanHoover caravan will pass through there." He lowered his hand, gazing from the passage to the gorge, visible from the hill, but still hours away. "We stop caravans. Then wait for goblins to anger and attack city. Won't be long. Goblins stupid."

The orc nodded at one of his human soldiers, and the woman brought a large, leather map of the surrounding area. Roughly drawn in it was the gorge, the city, and the forest and hill. Circled in a red paint was the railroad.

"This is what we destroy after war starts. No army will help VanHoover." Acken smiled, and looked up at a slowly advancing column of torches and carts, moving through the woods in the middle of the night. "They are early."

Acken smiled, still eyeing the procession as he turned back to Janus.
"Ohhh there's more than I expected!" Came Janus's ever gleeful voice from behind the large orc.
Acken's face took on a look of mild suprise as neither deckchair nor occupant nor iced beverage were where they once were. He quickly spun round to see the earth pony now positioned on a slight rocky outcrop with a pair of binoculars he has inexplicablebly acquired.
"Yes, yes a lot of them..!" He continued more dangerously and in a rapid, hushed tone.
Acken raised an eyebrow with a slight grin, ignoring the earth pony's inherent mystery as the map solider looked around bewildered with her mouth in a slight 'o'.
"Your blood burns for battle?" Questioned the orc gruffly. It seemed more like a rehtoric pleasantry than a genuine question, they all knew the answer.
"Ohhh yes." Janus replied darkly again, taking the binoculars away from his eyes to look at Acken, spirals spinning widely. He quickly replaced his binoculars again. Acken smiled broadly and readjusted his weapon on his shoulder.
"Buuuuuut" Janus returned to his playful manner, tossing the binoculars over his shoulder somewhere. Acken turned to him again with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm going to need to make a few preperations first." He trotted down from his perch with a spring in his step and talked while moving past the captain.
"What do you-" Acken began, eyebrow arched further.
"You there." Janus barked to the solider with suprising authority who snapped her attention to him.
"Bring that map and dollow me. And...wait you have cannons?" Janus said to fast for her to comprehend. He briefly turned to Acken for acknowledgment to his last question. "You do have cannons." He answered his own question without a break turning back to the solider again.
"Good, good." He finished beckoning the guard to follow him as he walked off. She followed warily behind him. Acken opened his mouth again to question the pony but was cut off again by the strange stallion before he could utter a syllable.
"Don't worry, dear Acken." Janus shouted back over his shoulder. He shot the orc a look that put him ever so slightly on edge, eyes spinning.
"Your going to like this...." The dark whisper was back but could still be heard clearly.
"Ever show needs fire works!" He roared madly over his sholder as he broke into a canter off into the camp, turning heads. He let out a cackle as the guard took her cue to break into a run to, after him, leaving the incredibly mystified orc behind.

Acken readusted his weapon unconciously again and swallowed. He didn't no why.
