Could you be more clear on what you mean by "following the plot of other stories"? The wording seems a little vague.

If you're talking about posting non-MLP stories here... that would be rather odd since this is an MLP fansite. That would be like when Crunchyroll, an anime streaming platform tried to produce an original western cartoon. Just saying, I wouldn't come looking around an MLP fanfic website for a fanfic about Power Rangers meeting Batman or something.
