So I'm not actually from New York, nor do I live there.
I've been unsuccessful in finding help with some dialogue in my story. So I finally had the idea to ask actual New Yorkers themselves.
One of the characters uses New Yorker slang, and I have the dialogue written, but I have no idea if it's accurate. I don't want it to be stereotyping either. I want it as close to accurate as possible.
