One story that has definitely made a huge impact on this site is the crossover story 'Fallout Equestria' by Kkat. Not only did it do the impossible, combining two opposite genres together into one well crafted and immensely popular story, it left an impact on the Brony fandom so big, that its now become a fandom within the fandom. I propose that one day, if we get a writer dedicated and talented enough, we attempt to do the same with Dragon Age.

With Fallout Equestria, we see how a word that was once ruled by friendship and love could be turned into a world of war, devastation and betrayal, and through the trials of Little pip, how that world could be turned around again. But how did that world come to be in the first place? We know from Hearts Warming that the world back before the founding of Equestria was not a happy place. The three tribes barely tolerated each other, magic was supposedly feared (by the Pegasai if not the Earth ponies as well), not to mention the many dangerous creatures that surrounded the three tribes at this time.

So here are some bare basic ideas I have for the setting for someone who's interested to use.

We have 3 nations;
Earth Ponies - Fereldan - non magical, mostly farmers, down to earth and practical.
Unicorns - Tivinter Imperium - Magic users who think themselves Superior to every other race.
Pegasai - Orlais - A militaristic Empire mixed with stylized art and architecture.

A race of creatures that seek the conquest and destruction of all other races and realms;
Changelings, Windigoes, Sirens ect - Darkspawn.

Many different races
Ponies - Humans
Griffons - Elves
Diamond Dogs - Dwarves
Minotaurs and Centaurs - Qunari

Beings of great magical power possibly from another world
Alicorns, Draconiquis, Ursa Major, ect - beings of the Fade (which could be interpreted as the realm Twilight enters when she becomes an Alicorn and the dream world Luna watches over.)

Point is this setting could be used as a prequel to the entire series, how Equestria came to be, why certain prejudices shown in the show were formed, why each race is seen the way they are ect. And this is just me coming up with ideas on the fly, think about how much more this story could become if given enough time and inspiration to grow.
