That's a real 'gap' i've seen in fics around this topic. If you take, say, Twilight's place - she's trapped in a world without magic. She's pretty much relying on you to bring her back - and just deciding to blend in as many of the protagonists in these fics do will only lead to you dooming her.

Hell, it could have been a villain making you take her place, so her body would lose all experience before something she would need to do! Lots of interesting possibilities. Is there anything like that?
