The battery icon for my Chromebook is gone. It doesn't show up when I open the systems menu, and I have no idea what my charge is. I tried wiping the settings, but it didn't do anything to help. It's plugged in right now, but when I take the plug out of the laptop the screen goes black and it immediately shuts down. Can someone please help?

Seriously though, maybe you need a replacement battery? If it can't hold a charge, I'm pretty sure that means it's dead. To be safe though, you should get it looked at or at the very least google the problem you're having.
