I make it a point not to use this group to promote stories that are not HiE, however in this one instance I am making an exception.

The Retaking of Canterlot is an excellent Changeling War story, an AU to the events of A Canterlot Wedding. It is very well written and a very interesting read.

So as to not be hypocritical, if any reading this have any good non-HiE military-focused pony stories, the comments section of this thread would be the time to post it.
