Here’s the storyline for this idea:

Spike Hunter is a human/dragon hybrid boy who’s 17 years old (almost 18) and lives in a society segregated between humans and magical beings (elves, trolls, fairies, dragons, griffons, hippogriffs, and changelings).

He receives a mysterious letter of recommendation from Mystic Institute and becomes part of a plan to desegregate humans and magical beings. He befriends and falls in love with nine magical girls, attracts a few other girls and even some of the female faculty. The girls help Spike on his path to uniting humans and magical beings as equals.

Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Scootaloo, and Spitfire - fairies
Celestia, Luna, and Cadance - elf/fairy hybrids
