Hi people I was just looking for a good NLR story then this thought came to me.
We all know The tyrant Celestia controls the sun and our princess of the night controls the moon right well I was thinking how the Sun and the Moon could be used as weapons.
The way I see it the sun could be used as a big death ray and the Moon could mess up Equestria's gravity and also course flooding also with Luna's ability to enter any one's dream at will she could kill some one in there dreams Freddy Kruger stile.

If the planet Equestria sits on is anything like earth, then the moon wouldn't so much affect the gravity of the home planet as it would the tidal forces. The back and forth of the earth and moon's mass shadows helps keep the earth on a stable axis of rotation. Without our moon the earth would have irregular seasons. Imagine going from winter to summer with no in between season. It would be very difficult to sustain human life on a earth like that. We own that much to our moon and if the sphere Equestria sits on is like ours it too own its relatively stable existence in part to its moon.
