Equestrian Earth Zone Guide by Nxegex
Link to Maps of Equestrian Earth

Colors:
Green: Easy Zones. Meant for characters new to the game, full of low-level monsters, rolling terrain, and few extraneous hazards.
Blue: Moderate Zones. The bulk of mid-level areas of the world, where monsters become slightly more difficult but far more interesting. Some blue zones might have hazardous or difficult-to-traverse terrain
Purple: Challenging Zones. As players expand outward they encounter the more dangerous monsters that have emerged. Unprepared players will have trouble with hordes of baddies or dangerous terrain.
Red: End-Game Zones. The pinnacle of danger, the strongest creatures roam these lands. Only the highest levels of players can move about freely.

Zone 1, The Canterlot Mountains
Situated above the Equestrian Heartland stands the Canterlot Mountain range, housing the esteemed capitol city that shares its name. Canterlot itself is situated in the most shielded spot in the range, with nigh-impassable mountains on three sides, and a spectacular view of the valley that opens to the west. Players who come here by hoof will have to make their way through this valley to the base of this mountain before they can ascend. Slightly tougher monsters than those in the valley below can be found on the mountainsides, and players who are looking for a real challenge can attempt to navigate the maze-like Gemstone Caverns that can be found deep in the mountain behind the city.

Zone 2, Sunshine Coast
Nicknamed 'The Vacation Zone' by players, the Sunshine Coast has absolutely no hostile monsters within its borders. Incredibly small in size, it has little to offer players, and those who arrive at the town of Seaddle as their starting town tend to quickly make their way to the west where they cross the patrolled border into The Spread Overlands. Many players who seek a break from the nonstop fighting come here to relax at the beach or in one of the Sunshine Coast's many gardens.

Zone 3, The Spread Overlands
The Spread Overgrowth is the most common place for eager beginning heroes to start on their journey. They cross over from The Sunshine Coast and find themselves within The Sherpwood, which covers almost half of the zone and is full of bizarre monsters for new players to fight. The coastline here is dominated by the Stormcaller Bluffs, where more daring adventurers can dive to the shipwrecks at the bottom of the sea to recover forgotten treasures. The eastern half of The Spread Overgrowth is mostly sparse woodlands, which holds the city of Trottingham in the northeast section of the zone. Trottingham boasts a fairly large population, and often has many players frequent it due to it's larger market and easy access to three different higher level zones.
