As the topic title says, basically - I'm working out the details of a changeling hive masquerading as an ordinary pony town, and I'd like to have a name that reflects that nature. This means it should allude in some way to bees, while still being able to pass as an ordinary horse-pun small town like Vanhoover, Baltimare, etc.

I'm personally partial to the word apiary, and would appreciate something that could include that, but having a functional name takes priority, and I'm not seeing any good horse puns out of that.

Further information, if needed - using the map of Equestria available on the MLP wiki, this city is to be located on the edge of Horseshoe Bay next to the Hayseed Swamps, opposite Baltimare.

Any suggestions?

I would go through the scientific classification names for insects and find one that you like.

hmm... apiary... neighpiary? It's a really bad pun, but it works. sort of. not as a town name. Sorry.

Here are some examples:
1. Anthophilia=Anthofillya - clade of bees
2. Halictidae=Haylictidae - family
3. Hymenopter=Haymenopter - order

I would play with Buckwheat, because buckwheat is both horse food and honey source.
