As Medley felt nothing of her oily tears slowly going down her metal,metallic cheeks she keeps trotting,searching for the pony she called "The inspector." to complete her mission,hopping that he hadn't left her on purpose.

"The moddle:K-36 is the first robot we have made to feel real pony emotions." The voice of her creator starts talking in her head...she didn't listen,the only thing on her mind is finding the blue pony she was programmed to protect and do her mission.

"Now whats this?" A dirty looking pony wearing makeshift engineering cloths comes from over the hill and trots to her,almost immediately Medley jumps into a combat stance and growls. "A robot? and it doesn't shoot magic?...i could use you." The creepy pony smiles and approaches her but as he raises a hoof...snap...crack...splat.

"...Threat exterminated." Medley announces to no one as blood slowly drips from her platting as she stands over the pile of blood and guts that used to be a pony. "Resuming sea-...oh." Her mechanical ears flop down as she looks at the blood and remembers the one she was looking for...now she was not only crying about losing her objective,but she was crying over the fact that she killed a pony that she and only she considered a threat,for all she knew the pony wasn't ever a threat...but her programming tells her otherwise. "...I...am...I a...pony?" She shakes slightly as she starts remembering things from a past time.

"W-whats going to happen to me?" She hears...herself say,but it wasn't the mechanical voice others would hear,it was the voice of a pony,a real air breathing pony...the pony she was before she became a guardian.

"Well some things will be harder to do and your new brain will have some new memories in it,and i'd like to thank you for your donation to our project miss Medley." The voice of a obvious scientist speaks out in her head,Medley's memories starting to become more vivid as she sees herself before she was a machine attached and strapped down to a bed,the scientist pony with one milky white eye and a charming hair style as he smiles and talks reassuringly to the pony in front of him.

"No problem,i wanted to help in one way or another because this war has to end,weather it'd be by ponies or machine...i wish we could all just stop fighting...is it really that hard?...anyway i heard the one my brain is going to is going to be protecting my colt friend?" The memories Medley looks at the scientist.

"Ah yes,the inspector,what is his real name though? you MUST know,he can't keep his name from everypony." The scientist eagerly hopes that she knows his name because it started becoming a mystery.

"Hehehe you really want to know his name? well Okay then,his name is Marius Mars,the reason why he keeps his tux on all the time is to hide his cutie mark...never seen the whole thing,all i know is that theirs a gun and a sword in it and i saw a few star's on it...but keep calling him the inspector okay? he doesn't like being called 'Marius'."

"Got it miss." As the scientist gets the anesthetic the memory begins to fade from Medley's mind.

"...Memory...not...deleted..." She looks down again,not being able to delete the last of her memories...already have deleted her other memories of herself,now all she could feel is pain,pain in her metallic non-beating heart and pain in her organic brain,the only part of her she knows is of another pony,she can't let it be gone now no matter how much it hurts knowing what she was before she was a machine,before the world changed so drastically,she always thought the world she was in was the world it always was. "N-no...programming...does not compute...with memories." She begins clutching her head and crying heavily as she falls down onto her side with a loud CLANK enough to wake the dead...she slowly began to put herself to sleep. "...Sleep mode,activated.

Medley slowly goes through the steps of reactivating,slowly opening her mechanical eyes...only to find shes being dragged with a explosive collar around her neck.

"Hey the robots awake." A pony dragging a cart says.

"Was the collar really necessary? shes a robot,i don't think she will f-. " Within a second the slaver pony next to Medley gets slammed into the floor by a metallic hoof and a explosive collar falls and lands in the dust in front of his eyes.

"H-HOW THE FUCK DID IT DO THAT?!?!?!?" The leading slaver pony nearly screams in terror,seeing the machine they captured has broken out of its binds and somehow deactivated and removed the explosive collar.

Medley looks at the pony and even without a mouth...he can tell she was smirking. "Explosive collars do not function on this unit." As she finishes her sentence multiple bullets ping off her armor plating like BB balls pinging off bullet proof steel. "...Wrong move,bitch." The slavers all go wide eyed as they hear a frighting cackle coming from her non-existent mouth as she forms a long Rapier like blade from her hoof...and soon the slavers all find themselves packed into the cart as Medley cheerfully whistles a Melody as she drags them as they shake in fear.

"H-how the hell did this happen?" One of the slavers shakily turns his head to his friend,trying to avoid setting off the fresh new slave collar on his neck.

"...I don't know...we were just enslaved and became the bitch of a robot...ulp." The other slaver responds as he looks up at Medley.

"...Goodnight little ponies." Medley looks back at them and chuckles as they go wide eyed...as she bucks the cart their in down a cliff and sets off the slave collars making everything i the cart thats explosive explode along with them in a beautiful display of fireworks.

"MEDLEY?!?!?" Star's voice can be heard as the blue Pegasus rushes to Medley.

Medley smiles and then her memories come back. "...Hello...Mr Marius." And as she says the ponies name...she becomes the first to realize her own mistake on why she mistook Star for Marius...Marius is Star's great ancestor...the very one who gave Star his skills this day.
