Promises

Hey everyone, I just want to touch base about the plan for my writing. I apologize in advance for the rambling. Public relations is not my strong suit through text.

I know that I keep making ominous remarks in the comments, but I want to clearly state for the record that I do intend to keep the spirit present in Of Dragons and Maternity intact despite how the story moves forward. That being, primarily, character dynamics and interactions, the personal growth of everyone throughout the story, and a "non-urgent" sort of tension to everything. This is a tale about how we relate to one-another and the situations that arise throughout life. As much as that's not a genre that comes naturally to me in the way that I try to execute it with oDaM, it's my desire to stay truthful to that goal to the best of my ability and try to be the author the story deserves.

Disappointing, disheartening, and distressing things can and will happen throughout the plot, particularly prior to the next chapter of the story (As in a sequel) but it will never be purposefully depressing or just for "edge" of it. The world has changed due to the M6 not getting together, and sometimes things are simply not meant to be. Yet, even through trying times there is still some measure of passion and peace to be found. That's the ultimate goal of all of this. Depicting a story of carrying on and finding the joy as it comes.

I don't want to spoil anything, of course. I just want to assure that it's not my motivation to pull twists or try to shock my readers just for the sake of being garish. I'm deeply grateful for all of you that trade your time and interest for the content that I produce.

On that topic, a lot of the story going forward has slotted into place now that one of the major plot events has been concluded (That being Trixie's magic show). The coming weeks and months in the fic are beginning to fall into place and once I begin to find the time again, more chapters should start rolling out with more frequency. I'm not sure what it is but summer seems to have an adverse affect on my writing. That'll be something to work on next year.

Along with this post, I'd like to share the anthem of oDaM and the coming sequel, though it is still a ways off. For the current story, it is Silhouette, by 4everfreebrony.
