An Idea for a Nearly Forgotten Story · 2:50am Oct 23rd, 2022
Hey, guys! There's this idea that's been bouncing around in my head for days! Question: How many of you remember "Welcome to Ponyville"?
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this, "Welcome to Ponyville" was a game made by Filly Gamez. There was only one act for the game: You, as any pony species you wanted (aside from Alicorn), coming to Ponyville as a new resident and meeting many characters. However, you start to notice something off in the middle and at the end.
While I never played the game myself, I did see some playthroughs of it. Personally, I thought it was interesting. Especially when they showed this weird and freaky looking pony that scared the crap out of me when I first saw it.
There was supposed to be chapter 2 with this trailer showing us what to expect:
Unfortunately, the game was sabotaged and cancelled. I was upset by this news and kept wondering what they had in mind. I learned that the game was supposedly based off of a comic that I like to call "The Revenge of Queen Chrysalis." I own a copy of the story and really like it.
Still, i'm left puzzled by where the second chapter of "Welcome to Ponyville" was supposed to go. Recently, the thought of the game came back into my head as an idea slowly began to form.
My idea is to write a story about Android's counterpart in Equestria: Sir Robocolt! Sir Robocolt is a secret project created by unknown city in Equestria. Once a normal Earth Pony, Dew Drop was injured during an accident with the unknown ponies messing around with strange magic. Thanks to the advanced technology of this unknown city, Dew Drop was fixed and turned into a being that was half-pony, half-machine.
His home has been destroyed by mysterious creatures called "shadow ponies." No one knows what they are, where they came from, or what they want to do to Equestria as a whole. Robocolt's captain, Captain Steel Heart, has sent him on a mission: Find the source, stop the shadow ponies. Can Sir Robocolt succeed? Why are the shadow ponies so drawn to Ponyville?
You will have to wait and see with a story that I plan to write: "Sir Robocolt, Knight of Equestria!"
A new story sounds like a fun time! Are you still going to update your other stories? Those are pretty interesting too, and I want to see what happens next, especially in The Robotic Hero of Canterlot High!

I will work on those stories as well. After seeing the like/dislike status on my Android story, I might post the next chapter.
