As of today, I have been lurking on this site for ten years... time really flies. There have been so many stories and worlds I have explored that the wonderful writers on this website have created. The countless hours of immersion that have pulled me from real life will be forever remembered even long after I have read my final story here. That's not happening anytime soon though.
Quite the opposite in fact.
I am currently working on something to finally post here. When I started, it hadn't really occurred to me that the tenth anniversary of me joining FiMFiction was approaching. When I had noticed, I thought, 'That's neat! Maybe I'll get the first chapter posted to celebrate!' Well... it's not quite ready yet. 
It's coming along slowly but surely. I'm not lacking for ideas, thankfully. Getting those ideas coherently written is another matter altogether. Real life get's in the way as well. If I had to guess, I would say the first chapter is well over half way done. When it's closer to completion, I will follow this up later with more about the setting. Hopefully whoever ends up reading it will feel at least a portion of the enjoyment I have felt for the past decade.
Lastly, I want to say thank you to all the writers old, new, and those yet to come. I have stayed in this fandom in large part because of what you guys have contributed here. See you all soon! /)
