Today History Has Been Made · 12:18am Sep 27th, 2022
First off, I'd like to say I'm still alive and writing and have witnessed a significant step in humanity itself.
Today my friends and fans marks the day we as a species have successfully launched, flown, and crashed a spacecraft into an asteroid along with purposefully redirect a celestial body as part of a future program to redirect or prevent asteroids and other celestial bodies from hitting Earth.
I just saw the live feed of the D.A.R.T Program and am very excited at the prospect of such a project taking off in the future to create a successful planetary defense for humanity itself. Just imagine the many other applications something like this could be done, such as mining, science, research on the make-up of other planets, exploration, space travel.
And today is hopefully the first step forward to a new age of technological advancement for all of mankind and its unity. Maybe I'm being naive or optimistic but right now in this day in age I think it should matter especially the last few shitty years that have been going on. Anyway the possibilities are endless for such an endeavor, and I look forward to future results and launches of these spacecraft that now shall be spearheading our future innovations straight into the stars.
P.S. I hope all of you are doing well too and please be doing well and stay positive out there.
