Potential Persona 5/FiM Crossover?

Hello, everypony. As I wait for my latest epic to clear the editing phase (it's detailed in my previous blog), I've become extremely hooked on Persona 5 and would love to do a crossover story to keep the creative juices flowing until my editor finishes.

My thought is this: some Brony in Japan is perverted and obsessed enough that it's causing a distortion so powerful it can be felt in Equestria's dream realm. Luna and the Mane 6 investigate, only to find themselves in the Metaverse and unable to return to Equestria. There, they meet the Phantom Thieves and learn that until they infiltrate the Brony's Palace and end the distortion that's keeping them there, the ponies are stuck on Earth and/or the Metaverse. I know it's just fiction and there's some room for disbelief, but I don't want to let fans of either franchise down by creating something that isn't possible in their respective media.

Also, I don't want to make the Brony villain look like I'm making fun of Bronies, so if anyone has any suggestions as to what other distortion would lead the ponies to the Metaverse, I'm all ears.

Panther: Wait. If we take them back to the real world, are they going to turn into real horses the same way Mona turns into a real cat?

Oracle: It's possible. Or they might turn into humans. Like us.

Rainbow Dash: Oh, please no...
