So my computer seems to be probably bricked

I’ve had issues with this computer since I bought it mid pandemic (it was the only model available and not something I’d choose at all) and I’ve had issues at least every few days with it either not connecting to the internet for an entire day or more, broken troubleshooters, etc for at least three whole months

So color me surprised when I woke up today being completely unable to connect to any Wi-Fi network at all

So I thought “hey It might just be my modem it’s cheap” that fixes the issue 99 percent of the time cause it does kind of act up. Did that. No problems.

So then I tried running stuff as an administrator, sometimes that clears stuff up. Couldn’t do that at all or I couldn’t figure out how to do it. Something was odd there usually it works. Okay so running through the Microsoft help windows and guides the next thing I could do was factory reset my computer.

Cool. That’s super unsafe in my eyes cause something might happen.

Color me surprised when it turns out that my wifi connection driver or whatever the hell let’s it find a connection point was corrupted by something. Don’t know what.

Oh and did I tell you I figured that out after starting the factory reset process and being halfway through it where it needed to connect to the damn internet to do anything.

So either I take it to the store so they deal with it or buy a new whole damn computer.

And I’m this close to saying f it and buying a new one. Probably cheaper this time. I dunno. Either way all writing is currently or nearly on hold cause I can write on my phone but it’s unwieldy for me. I’ll try to do that for a few days see how that goes. No promises.

I am going to take a break for a few days cause I think I worked myself into such a mood that I actually feel sick which blows.

When I get this situation fixed I’ll write a new blog mentioning it. Maybe tomorrow or next week or something I don’t know.

Either way I’m just going to chill and probably go to bed cause I’m so angry at this comedy of errors that I need to chill.

By this point I actually think any story updates would be September cause I thought it’d be late August- early September for an update but that was before my computer just shit the bed.

I’m livid.
