My Silent Ritornelle

Long ago i lived in peace
in times of war, great indeed
i was one who knew no fate
as wrong as the griffon's deed

They came in droves miles wide
from lands far they reside
They're strength is high, numbers huge
thus are the beasts of sky and claw

I shall remember this, for time to come
never shall i let this come again.

So much was lost that very day
friends and family alike
a rage unknown bloomed within
thus realesed was death's charge

Blood was spilt and bodies lain
families gone and freinds in pain
there i lay, in pain and guilt
for twas done by my own fault

I shall remember this, for time to come
never shall i let this come again.

Long i spent alone and dark
till i met one of bark
she came to me with brightened skies
and with that came new desire

darkened past and brightened sky
shall protect those from past mistakes
noble cause and strength of all
thus released the Silent Charge

I shall remember this for time to come
as long as i am there this wont come again!
