Hello everyone, my name is Bit-Bit-Bit, welcome to my Studio, I’m here to discuss a few goals and inspirations from my upcoming project:
"My Little Spider-Machina: Friendship is Amazing!"
Before creation comes inspiration
My soaring, wall-crawling hero Spider-Machina was created and is inspired by four ingredients that are married to his character, design, and personality.
Number 1; his suit shares some traits from the MK iv spider armor suit that Peter Parker wore in the amazing Spider-Man marvel comics. At first, I was planning to have him wear the regular Spider-Man suit that Peter wore from Ultimate: Spider-Man. But I soon realized that I didn’t want to make the main protagonists a carbon copy of Peter Parker just because both their suits are similar; Just as I established from a few blogs, when I first saw it I knew right there and then that this would be his official suit as not only a sentinel but also as an important quart to the sentinel lore.
Number 2; Now originally I wanted to make Spider-Machina a unicorn but while I was watching a few clips of Superman in Man of Steel, his strength, speed, and ability to fly faster than the speed of light. I was hit with another idea. An idea that asked. “What if there was a character that married two magnificently great powers together? One that has the high senses, strength, and webbing of a spider; and the other, gifted with the ability to fly as fast as Superman?”
So I entertained that idea by making my Spider-pony into a pegasus. My Little Spider-Pony with the combination of both spider powers and flight faster than the speed of light.
Number 3; if each universe had its idol, its hero, their All Might it would be Spider-Machina. When the situation is dire and the ponies quickened to fear and lose hope, Machina will assure them that everything will be alright. When faced with a villain whether they be Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, or Tirek. He hides his fear by displaying sheer confidence that he will beat them.
Number 4; If some hadn't figured it out already, his last name after ‘Spider’ is an inspiration to a series titled “Deus Ex Machina,” one of my favorite machinima series when I was young.
Future goals and hopes
The goals I have for this story starts with my main protagonists:
Lawrence Dainty.
I want to make Lawrence someone that not only I would like and love as a pony but as a character, but other readers will also like too. My second goal, is to make this story not the perfect written story but the best story that every reader (myself included), could come back to and read for nostalgia; and my hope for this story is that I won’t look at it with disappointment when it is done and finish. That’s all for now and I shall take my leave.
