Hey everyone. I know I said something about having more time to work on a blog, but as things go, life had other plans. For the past few weeks, I have been helping my day job stay alive, so my free time has been drastically reduced. I've also been fixing my house up, which is also eating up my time. I'm lucky if I get time to crash on the couch and take a nap, but things are looking up. I finished remodeling a closet as an extended pantry, which looks really nice. I despise wire shelves with small stuff always tilting over, though I will admit they are vastly cheaper and easier to install. At the moment I'm going to take a break from any massive house projects, and there are plenty to undergo. That's what happens when you buy a house that turns out to be a secret fixer-upper. Nothing like the main electrical breaker being broken in the "on" position. 
As far as my job goes, well... let's just say bad things happened because some people who know better wantingly didn't want to go that route, and I'm making efforts to improve the situation left in the wake of those people. It's not fun, but I have to live with myself at the end of the day.
So, as far as the blog goes, I'm going to work towards it, and really, this kind of pattern is typical. Eventually, I will be steady with the blogs. The time away from it has given me some clarity on the "how to write stories" topic which I got a better direction in mind of how I want to approach it. The editing topic is easier to tackle at the moment, and having a blog about cooking recipes still sounds fun, which is something I desperately need. Of course, all of this stuff requires work as well, but I'm up for it when I find the time.
Give me some time and I'll get back on track. And remember, keep your pencils sharp and your minds sharper.
