The Funeral of the first draft of Scottaloo

We are gathered here today to remember a chapter lost to time. Although it's word count low, it's soul was much more than what a few words could bear to bring.

    Sign my Petition!

Hello FiMFiction, my name is Scot. Today, February 16th 2024, a petition was made on Change.org complaining that people aren't allowed to blatantly plagiarise other peoples work.

And I must say that I agree.

It is a travesty that someone cannot just steal someone else's hard work for themselves and change the names around on this site, and we need CHANGE.

    Common Transphobic A-Hole L

A particular user known for their blatant transphobic attacks on the community has recently blocked me, which is pretty hilarious ngl. I guess free speech only counts when it's something they agree with LMAOOOOOO

I'm not going to go and try and explain nothing. Doesn't feel right, but Viking ZX needs our support right now. Try and help any way you can but don't hound the guy for details.

A New Chapter of My Little Methhead Has Released!

Just as the title suggests, I have finally released the next chapter of the 4 time Emmy winner and Pulitzer Prize recipent, My Little Methhead. The new chapter comes with a few changes however, most obviously the change of the whole stories name. I dropped the flavor text : Waltuh Invades the Crystal Meth Empire because it doesn't exactly make much sense if that only happens in the first

r/place was FUN. Thanks to everyone who participated! · 7:51pm Apr 6th, 2022

Hey y'all, Scot here! So, a few days ago, the Reddit website held an April Fools joke called Place, which was essentially a giant pixel art canvas that anybody could add pixels to, but only one every 5 or so minutes. (I had it go down to 4 minutes due to me not using bots and only a single account, though I have seen horror stories about 7000 year long waits for cheaters.) As you may know, this wasn't the first time something like this occured, as Reddit held the same competition 5 years ago. You may also know that back in 2017, the Bronies organized a group of pixels that had RD in that classic sleeping heart thing I'm sure you have seen once or twice in your journey as a brony, and very similarly, we returned to r/place in 2022 with a very similar goal: To put RD on the canvas. We were initially successful, getting an RD salute where the character Guts from Berserk now resides, as well as a little bit by my friend Dogger on the FiMFiction Discord server that was just the Book of Friendship with Twilight and Sunny peaking their heads out over. There was also a Derpy and pixelated Flutters, but it didn't last long.

At around 9am AKST, Asmongold, a Twitch streamer, made the first of many ill-fated strikes, and completely painted over our work with the Guts face that now lies on the canvas, destroying all of our work. We were devastated, and a lot of people gave up, seeing it as a lost cause. Eventually, Manechat, another Discord server, debated whether we should move RD or try and reclaim the Guts face. Though "debated" is a very kind word.

Many people on Manechat were banned for suggesting action that did not align with the views of the chat moderators. As such, when I suggested we should move RD to a different spot, I was banned from the server posthaste. My story is not unique, either, as most of everybody in the FiMFiction Discord server were banned for similar reasons, as well as other stories on the numerous Allied servers, like the UFP. It is something I wish could have been handled with more civility, but this is Manechat we are talking about here.

After awhile, Manechat reorganized themselves, and with the help of FiMFiction, built a ring of the Mane 6 and New 5 around the three Crystals from the G5 movie on the new side of the canvas. You can still see this work on the final canvas, not to far from a recreation of Derpy on the right side of the canvas.

A really interesting phenomenon I observed during r/place's existence was the overwhelming support we received from other factions due to our unfair treatment from streamers. I say that without me and Doggers warnings of imminent threats from streamers like Asmongold, XQC, and many more, the Brony faction would have not lasted very long. We garnered major sympathy from other factions, which not only allowed us to build more pones around the canvas, but also helped us gain assistance in defending our still standing creations. At the end of the day, when the dust settled, the Brony faction had made 5 major appearances on the canvas, as well as many smaller pixel art creations.

Characters and symbols represented include the following:

-Trans Trixie, on the TransPlace flag
-Anonfilly, in a major role above the saluting RD as well as in a small pixel art next to the small Derpy
-Derpy, in two different areas, both fairly large designs
-Rainbow Dash, in a salute as well as appearing in the circle crystal formation
-The Equestrian Flag, not to far above RD and Anonfilly
-The Mane 6 and the New 5, as a circle surrounding the Friendship Crystals
-The Friendship Crystals, surrounded by the Mane 6 and New 5
-Octavia Melody, as a little cooperation with ZSET, on the bottom taskbar. (Manechat actually listened to a suggestion I made lol)
-The Sus 6, Amogus versions of the Mane 6 placed next to the Equestrian Flag

And many more tiny little art pieces scattered about the final canvas!

I would just like to say this was a wonderful experience, and I want to thank all of you who helped make this possible. Certainly, this was a one-of-a-kind thing, and I will cherish this memory for the rest of my days.

Thank you for reading, and have a great day!
