Using info from this trailer alone, I'm gonna name all the newly revealed ways that monsters can be clobbered by that there Kirby. Ready?
- Inhaling enemies while floating on water, which he couldn't do in other games
Doing what Cappy from Super Mario Odyssey does... but better, since he's Kirby.
- Running over enemies with a car in his mouth
- Shooting soda cans with a vending machine in his mouth
- Stabbing enemies with a traffic cone in his mouth
- Blowing away enemies with a gust of wind while a ring is in his mouth
- Ramming enemies with a boat
- DO A BARREL ROLL (presumably, since you can often do that in flying segments of games) with an arch in his mouth
- Throwing ninja chakras at enemies
- Spitting volcanic rocks at enemies
- Shooting enemies with twin guns
- Piercing enemies with many different—oh, wait, he already did that in 64
- Making Mr. Frosty snowmen to block or kick at enemies
- Cutting with a giant—oh, wait, Return to Dream Land already did that
- Being able to spam Hammer
- Dragon powers!
And that's a lot of ways to beat up monsters. Add the pony who will join the gang in my upcoming crossover with Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and bad guys are screwed.
