This is why I search for G5 Discord stories. Discord in G5 just raises so many questions that will be disappoint to never find an answer to.
While Discord has always been a mystery — typically with his origins and species — G5 just makes him even more of a mystery. Fred Jones would be proud. Or excited. Or a conspiracy theorist.
Seeing as Discord is a magical spirit (who has been shown to not even need a physical body to exist), it’s quite possible that he either phased out of reality when all of the magic went missing, or he phased out so much that he’s never coming back.
Both options are great (if he wasn’t turned into stone or purposefully acted orderly after Fluttershy’s demise and instead became BFFs with fellow immortal Twilight), but the latter raises a question: if Discord has ceased to exist, will there be another draconequus to take his place?
