Ramirez stared out the window, watching snowflakes fall from the sky and covering the ground below all while the temperature drops a bit. she is very much lucky that her home has a fireplace, otherwise, she and her young would suffer the cold.

The little changeling had taken her blanket den apart and constructed it near the fireplace, close where she could tend it and keep her foals warm while being far to prevent the blanket from catching fire and burning them alive. thank Celestia that it wouldn't happen.

The bug is currently snuggling with them, sometimes getting up to search for food or preening her daughter's wings. Thumbtack and Zinc would also play around close to where their mother could keep an eye on them. even though the door and windows are shut and the house safe, Ramirez couldn't help but remain protective over them.

As the snowfall picked up Ramirez let out a small whimper, they were kinda low on food and soon she had to go out and find some more. she has enough love energy to feed herself and her only son but for her daughters...it is going to be tough, they aren't changelings like herself so she couldn't feed them via love. they needed actual food, especially meat since Zinc requires a lot for some reason (probably got that from her father).

She couldn't call anyone to bring some food because her phone stopped working, her Husband is in Canterlot doing Celestia knows what, and she didn't feel comfortable leaving her kids alone.

'Talk about tough luck...' she thought to herself as she watched Thumbtack shift in his sleep, she couldn't help but smile every time she looks at her foals sleeping 'either somepony comes to help us or I'm gonna just have to buck it and go'
