Guilty Mare Has Been Posted!

Since my last blog post there have been many changes to my initial steps towards creating my first fanfiction. Firstly, as stated on the comments of my deviantart journal here, I've decided to halt my progress on Guilty Mare Accent Core in order to help write my partner's fanfiction, Guilty Mare. Secondly, me and my writing partner, Nintendo917, have decided to team up and have Guilty Mare be our first cooperative fanfiction.

Lastly, that fanfiction has actually been posted here on fimfiction.net, after many long nights of patience, planning, and hard work. We're very proud of what we've created, but me and my partner's adventure hasn't finished just yet. We've written out the entire fic, but have decided to cut it into sections and go through them one by one. In doing so, our ability to modify the fiction increases dramatically. Infact, I personally feel that what would have been a long, 10,000+ word oneshot has now become an improved fanfic altogether. The first two chapters, excluding the prologue, have been greatly modified thanks to our new editing routine (the last time I check there was only one chapter, but that is subject to change very soon).

So far, readers like you have responded with mixed results. Some of you glanced at our fic and, liking the prospect of a Guilty Gear crossover, almost immediately liked it. Some of you read our posted chapters and, although you enjoyed them, found a few things we could improve on. Others either read the chapters and disliked them or flat out disliked the fiction without reading anything at all. For those of you who did not give us a chance, I have nothing more to say to you other then that I'm dissaponted. Frankly, I don't feel it to be the end of the world for me. For those of you that read them, I thank you. Wether you liked our story or not, your constructive criticism helps us to improve not only Guilty Mare, but our writing skills as well. So long as you continue to support us, we will be able to deliver our fiction in a much better fasion. In a sense, I guess this is much of an adventure for you guys as it is for us. If you feel that way as well, then I can promise you that we'll make it to the end together!

Our pride and joy may not be perfect, but it doesn't have to be for readers like you to enjoy it. My goal as a writer is to use my literary knowledge to the best of my abilities so as to express my thoughts and ideas on a readable format. Fanfiction, for me, is new territory that I want to explore, improve upon, and have fun with. With your help, you can make this venture worth while. So come on down and read a few chapters of Guilty Mare (since there are only a few chapters out at this time, lol)!
