Look. I'm not as amped-up as I used to be, I'm much more interested in Warframe than I was a few years ago, and the sustained energy of the show doesn't keep me going right about now.
BUT
I just wanted you to know I've written a page or two of Lair of the Badalisc. I haven't forgotten, I'm still committed to this silly, silly idea, and as soon as I have chapter 3's rough draft done, I'm gonna start work on chapter four, make a preview blog, and get on with it, then step up my output. I wanted this to be a short story I eventually try to market to prereaders so I have someone to bounce ideas off of, and maybe get to ED. Maybe.

As always take your time! I always want quality over something quickly written.
"Spectrum" just did... something... and rather than figure out that they have been editing and why, my first thought was to check up on you. And... um... Wow. Wasn't expecting the contents of "A purposefully underwhelming blog". I'll miss Kraber, but you need to do what you need to stay (?) sane and healthy. I'll give Baldalisc a look over soon.

Funny you came here just now, I actually just finished the rough draft of that chapter! It wasn't, like, super intensive, I just kept putting it off and then something snapped in me today and I hammered it out. It's got... some work to do, but it won't be long till I edit it and post it.
As for my mental health, don't worry. Nothing bad enough to recount in this comment happened, it's just... I was tired of being on something i'd done for SEVEN YEARS, WHAT IN THE GODDAMN

Sorry you have to deal with burnout. But frankly it's a good thing I waited til now to check your blog as I have a fresh new fic to check out. Hopefully Chapter 3 will be ready by the time I've read the first two chapters of "Lair..."
