“Um...Rami?” Star asked as he watched his wife build a “nest” in a tree.
“Yes, what? don't you see I’m busy Star?” Ramirez replied, spitting some green changeling goo into her hoof and applying it on the side of her nest.
“I know you wanna protect your foals and all but...don't you think this is a little...unsafe?” Star looked at her worryingly.
“if it was “unsafe” then I wouldn’t be doing it! don't worry Star, they won't fall over because I’ll keep my eye on them all day long!” Ramirez then once again changed into her pegasus form before covering her foals with her wing and bringing them closer to her.
Star sighed “Fine...I’m just...worried about them, especially Amber...can I hold her now?”
“No”
“Awwwwww! but I want to! Ramirez this isn’t fair! she’s my daughter too you know!” Star whined.
“Eh...I just dont want Amber or Thumbtack and Zinc getting hurt...” Ramirez said.
“alright...you win...if you need anything...I’ll be inside...” Ramirez watched Star turn around and walk away from the tree and towards the back door of the house.
“I’m sorry Star...”
