Say what you want about the film as a whole (and I mean that...clump pt. I in with that), but the movie ended exactly how most of us expected it to end (epilogue aside...that's another conversation)! Almost exactly how the book ended. Damn....I was already well into my teens when this premiered. I remember going to the drive-in a few weeks after the premier with my father, older sister, two of my cousins and my little brothers to watch it. I remember watching the first movie too (see blog post on November 16th, 2021). Bravo.
